Our client is a modern multidisciplinary allied health service specialising in neurological rehabilitation. Due to growing demand, they’re welcoming a Speech Pathologist to their state-of-the-art Maitland clinic. You’ll work with adult clients presenting with complex communication and swallowing needs, alongside a team that values compassion, accountability, respect, collaboration, and outcomes. Utilise a wide range of AAC & AT, experience in this area not necessary due to their robust internal support. About the role You’ll provide assessment and intervention for adults with neurological conditions, with a strong emphasis on functional, goal-driven therapy. Key responsibilities include: Assessment and therapy for clients with a broad range of neurological presentations AAC & AT exposure while being provided with cutting edge tools and resources while having the ability to trial and tailor systems to each individual. Delivering high-quality, evidence-based intervention for complex communication and dysphagia needs Collaborative work with a multidisciplinary team Setting functional goals with clients and supporting progress in an engaging, practical way Contributing to the planning and delivery of clinic-based communication groups Quality clinical documentation and reporting (systems in place to support efficient note-taking and diary management) What’s on offer Salary: $90,000 – $120,000 Super (experience dependent) Flexible work arrangements: hybrid options autonomy to manage your own diary WFH option: report writing/admin once a fortnight Broad referral sources across NDIS, aged care, lifetime care, icare and more.
